DESIRED EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma or equivalent

· A college degree focused on marketing and/or business or equivalent is preferred.

· Experience in sales and customer service functions.

· Proficiency in basic computer & software skills including Windows, CRM systems, Dropbox, Google Mail and Google Drive.

· Stable employment history.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Answer & pre-qualify incoming calls and emails. Records and directs them to other team members when and if necessary.

· Assist and learn from regional sales managers in developing and managing their respective territories including obtaining shipping quotes, researching, and entering orders and/or quotations when or if necessary.

· Communicate with customers and provide product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer requests, selecting appropriate information, forwarding information, and answering questions.

· Maintain customer database by inputting customer profiles and updates.

· Contribute information to sales strategies by evaluating current products; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive products; analyzing and relaying customer feedback.

· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal & professional networks; participating in professional organizations and learning from other employees.

· Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

· Attend major trade show events and make personal visits with customers throughout the year when necessary or appropriate.
